This thermostatic valve operates on the principle of expanding wax. As the fluid temperature rises, the wax changes from a solid to a liquid state, causing the thermostat sleeve to move and control the fluid flow direction to achieve the desired operation.
This valve is versatile, suitable for both diverting and mixing applications without needing modifications to the valve assembly. It is factory set to predetermined set-point temperatures, eliminating the need for field adjustments. Simply connect the valve to your system and it’s ready to go.
