Screwplug Heater 1.2 KW / 240V ATEX CXF212P12

At  SESCO we supply screwplug immersion heaters for explosion hazardous locations that are designed for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2, Groups IIA, IIB, and IIC, with temperature classes T1-T6. They are certified under ATEX II 2G Ex d IIC T1-T6, according to EN 60079-0 / 60079-1, and IECEx Ex d IIC T1-T6, according to IEC 60079-0 / 60079-1 standards.

These heaters consist of tubular elements welded to a screw cap, which is threaded into an inlet on the tank wall. The heating elements are constructed using high-quality NiCr 80/20 wire placed in the center of a metal tube and insulated with compacted magnesium oxide (MgO) for excellent heat conduction. The element sheath is available in various materials, such as carbon steel, stainless steel (304L, 316L, or 321), Incoloy 800 or 825, Inconel 600 or 625, Titanium, Copper, Monel, and more upon request.

The elements are bonded to the threaded screw cap, which is available in different materials to match various sheath types and applications. The screw cap can be equipped with BSP, NPT, or ISO threads, with custom threads and materials available on request. The heaters can also be fitted with a control thermostat and/or a manual reset safety thermostat for enhanced functionality.
