PeterPaul dual orifice valves are designed with the body orifice closed and the sleeve orifice open in the de-energized position. This configuration ensures that no flow can exist between the inlet and cylinder ports, while allowing flow between the cylinder and exhaust ports. Specifically, the 3-Way Normally Closed Magnet Latching Valve, known for its durability with magnetic components encased in epoxy, features interior parts made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum. These valves are suitable for use with air, inert gas, and liquid media across a pressure range from vacuum to 200 psi, depending on the specific orifice size and configuration. For applications requiring enhanced heat resistance and compatibility with various media, options such as FKM and other elastomers are available.

Ordering Information:

When ordering valves or repair packs add voltage and frequency to complete valve number. for examples: valve (828B12DELM 12/DC) repair pack (K828BDL DC)

When ordering operators add the letter “O” to the front of the valve number, replace body port number with the letter “D”: example: operator (O828B12DELM 12/DC)

 

Operating Conditions:

  • Media: Air, water, and other fluids compatible with standard Buna seals. Hot water, steam, gasoline, and many oils require special seal materials. (Series 15 pressure ratings may change due to the viscosity of the liquid.)*
  • Valve Temperature Range:
    • Standard Valves – 0°F (-18°C) to 104°F (40°C) ambient; 0°F (-18°C) to 150°F (65°C) media.
    • Optional Valves – can tolerate much higher or much lower ambient and media temperatures.*
