Peter Paul Magnetic Latching Valve Model MLV 26 (3-wire)

PeterPaul dual orifice valves are designed with the body orifice closed and sleeve orifice open in the de-energized position, ensuring no flow between the common and normally closed ports while enabling flow between the common and normally open ports. These 3-Way Multi-Purpose Magnetic Latching Valves are frequently employed in remote locations where continuous power may not be accessible or with battery-powered portable equipment where power capacity is restricted. They are also advantageous in applications where avoiding coil heating due to continuous power application is crucial. These valves are compatible with air and other fluids suitable for standard Buna seals. However, media such as hot water, steam, gasoline, oils, certain hydraulic fluids, and various other substances may necessitate special seal materials for optimal performance and longevity.

Ordering Information:

When ordering valves or repair packs add voltage and frequency to complete valve number. for examples: valve (26JJ7XELM 12/DC) repair pack (K26JJ3L DC)

Operating Conditions:

  • Media: Air, water, and other fluids are compatible with standard Buna seals. Hot water, steam, gasoline, and many oils require other seal materials. (Series 20 pressure ratings may change due to the viscosity of the liquid.)*
  • Valve Temperature Range:
    • Standard Valves – 0°F (-18°C) to 104°F (40°C) ambient; 0°F (-18°C) to 150°F (65°C) media.
    • Optional Valves – can tolerate much higher or much lower ambient and media temperatures.*
  • Maximum Operating Pressure Differentials: See table above.
  • Burst Pressure: 5,000 PSI
  • Leakage: Bubbletight (with polymer sealing pins)
  • Vacuum:  To 5 Microns*

Electrical Characteristics:

  • Coil Voltage: 12, 24/DC
  • Nominal Power: DC — 8.0 Watts
  • Coil Construction: Molded Class B with three – 24” leadwires
  • Typical Response Time on Air: Approximate 50 millisecond pulse to energize and de-energize.
  • Operating Speed:  Up to 600 CPM

Mechanical Characteristics

  • Body: Stainless Steel (Std.) or Brass (Opt.)
  • Internal Components: Stainless Steel
