PeterPaul dual orifice valves are designed with the body orifice closed and sleeve orifice open in the de-energized position, ensuring no flow between the inlet and normally closed ports while permitting flow between the inlet and normally open ports. These 3-Way Directional Control Valves are widely utilized in remote areas where continuous power may be unavailable or with battery-powered portable equipment where power capacity is limited. They are particularly advantageous in applications where avoiding coil heating from continuous power application is critical. These valves are compatible with air and other fluids that work well with standard Buna seals. However, for media such as hot water, steam, gasoline, oils, certain hydraulic fluids, and other aggressive substances, special seal materials may be required to ensure optimal performance and durability.

  • Media: Air, water, and other fluids are compatible with standard Buna seals. Hot water, steam, gasoline, and many oils require other seal materials. (Series 20 pressure ratings may change due to the viscosity of the liquid.)*
