HOTSTART’s DLV Dual Fluid Electrical Engine Heater

The HOTSTART DLV is a compact, dual-fluid heating system designed to preheat both engine coolant and oil for engines up to 300 L. It is well suited for train and locomotive, power generation, marine, and machinery applications, where reliable engine starting and readiness are essential. Using shore or onboard power, the DLV circulates heated fluids through the engine to maintain optimal operating temperatures, helping reduce engine idling, fuel consumption, and cold-start wear.

The DLV features PT-100 temperature sensors and independent temperature controls for the coolant and oil circuits, providing precise and consistent heating. Its modular design and space-saving control box, with side-mounted controls and a removable lid, provide installation flexibility and easy access to the system in confined areas.
