HOTSTART’s CLV Single Fluid Electrical Engine Heater
The HOTSTART CLV is a compact, high-efficiency heating system designed to preheat coolant for engines up to 300 L in locomotives, generators, marine vessels, and mining equipment. Powered by shore or onboard sources, it circulates heated coolant to prevent cold starts, save fuel, and reduce engine wear.
It features PT-100 sensors for accurate temperature control and offers primary heating (Coolant Mix) at 24 kW, 30 kW, or 36 kW, and secondary heating (Lubrication Oil) at 6 kW, 9 kW, or 12 kW. With modular components and space-saving controls, it allows flexible installation in tight spaces.
