Hotstart’s New EVRHEAT Series 20 Heating System is a forced circulation coolant preheater, developed to maintain optimal temperatures for diesel and gas engines in marine and power generation applications. This range is the latest advancement in the field of engine heating, and it comes with the following features:

  • Increased safety – EVRHEAT Series 20 come with a detector for coolant fluid levels and shut down heating automatically to prevent the danger of dry fire.
  • Longer life-time service – The built sensors continuously measure coolant temperature and modulate the function of the heater unit accordingly. This way the heater suffers less wear and tear and can serve for 10-15 years.
  • Power efficiency – By continuously regulating coolant temperature and switching on-off when needed, EVRHEAT Series 20 save electricity. Up to 45% more efficient than standard thermosiphon (TPS) and CTM heaters.
  • Water-resistant – Coming with IP65 Rating, the EVRHEAT Series 20 is adequately resistant against water in places where water is present near installation.
  • Simplified installation and operation – With a built-in adjustable swivel inlet hose barb, EVRHEAT Series 20 can be installed with no difficulty in confined areas. The indicator lights give operation crew quick status information immediately.

Indicator lights display current heater status, allowing users to verify heater operation at a glance. Engines are maintained at their optimized temperature range for easy starts with reduced emissions.

EASY TROUBLESHOOTING
If a fault condition arises, the heating system detects the problem and deactivates before any damage occurs – minimizing heater downtime, repair costs, and warranty expenditures. Clear fault indicators on the display inform users of heater status, making troubleshooting issues easier and quicker in the field.

QUICK RESPONSE CONTROLS
The EVRHEAT Series 20 uses solid state controls to respond to fluid temperature changes as little as 1 °F, resulting in increased temperature uniformity and eliminating nuisance low temperature alarms.

SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION
Installation of the EVR20 is simplified with an adjustable 180° swivel inlet hose barb, accommodating plumbing requirements in confined areas and allowing for easier field retrofits.

The combination of the solid state temperature controls with its debris-resistant forced circulation pump makes for an exceptionally robust engine heating solution that is up to 45% more efficient than standard thermosiphon (TPS) heaters.
