These Container Heaters provide a practical, efficient means of freeze protection, viscosity control and maintenance of materials at elevated temperatures.
A variety of standard sizes are combined with availability of configure-to-order designs to meet numerous applications.
We also offer container heaters specifically for use on poly containers. These container heaters have a lower watt density than others to help prevent hot spots and overheating of sensitive products or the container itself.

-Standard Band-Style Drum Heaters

These Standard Drum Heaters are ideal for situations where durability and flexibility is not as critical.

These Heavy Duty Drum Heaters use high grade silicone that ensures durability and flexibility. These Heavy Duty Drum Heaters are available in two power densities, high density for metal drums and low density for poly drums.

Explosion Proof Drum Heaters combine the necessary heat while meeting the requirements of a hazardous environment.

Specifications:
• Attached temperature controller (optional if heater is used with approved external temperature controller)
• 203 mm wide band
• Power cord 1.8 mtr. long
• Blanket leads 1.8 mtr. long for controller; 0.3 mtr. without controller
• Leads from blanket to controller are enclosed in a liquid tight conduit
• Power density of .004 Watts/mm2
• Patented grounded heating element
• Heating element is laminated between two layers of fiberglass reinforced silicone
rubber
• Nominal silicone rubber density of 881 grams/m2 per layer
• 200°c maximum exposure temperature on heating surface
• Moisture and chemical resistant

These heaters meet the Hazardous Area T-ratings, as specified by NEC article 500. These heaters include a built-in high-limit thennal cutout that, in the event of a temperature controller failure, maintains blanket sheath temperature at safe levels to accomplish the T-rating.

Hazardous-Area Ready for T3 Rated Environments

T3 rated hazardous area drum heaters heat to 145°C, well below the NEC temperature of 200°C, avoiding the auto-ignition point of the materials encountered. For metal drums only.
